Not as fast as a flight, sea travelling can be more affordable and above all much more rewarding in views and experiences. Slow boats (nine hours travel time) of Blue Star Ferries depart daily, during all year from Piraeus Athens' Port. High Speed boats (five hours travel time) of Hellenic Sea Ways depart daily, during all season from April to October. If you are in a mood for some island hopping, the best way to do it, is through Olympic Air and Sky Express small Jets, flying from late May to early September or the classic way, on Hellenic Sea Ways Flying Catamarans (Flying Cats) traveling from Late April to Early October.

Directions from the Airport

Exiting the airport grounds, take a left towards the capital, Fira. After 3km you will reach an intersection by the Messaria village, where you will turn right. Fira is located approximately 4km from this point. Once arriving Fira, there are two public parking lots, one across the health center and the other opposite of Carrefour super market. You can park your car and continue towards the the Cathedral on foot. The hotel is just on the right side of the Cathedral. You may follow the instructions on the map to find us, but you can always take a taxi and bring you directly in front of the hotel.

Directions from the Port

Upon your arrival you will realise that you are in the heart of the Caldera. Follow the serpentine road to the top of the hill, where you will then take a left towards the capital, Fira, located just 5km away. Once arriving Fira, there are two public parking lots, one across the health center and the other opposite of Carrefour super market You must now park your car and continue towards the the Cathedral on foot. The hotel is just on the right side of the Cathedral. You may follow the instructions on the map to find us, but you can always take a taxi and bring you directly in front of the hotel.
